WELL VENTILATED – Carefully crafted to be a functional haven for your most sacred bakes, it features a textured bottom and meticulously tailored lid that encourage just enough ventilation to keep its contents fresh. After all, life is too short to eat stale bread.

HIDDEN BREAD BOARD – When you're ready to slice up something tasty, easily remove and flip the wooden lid using the integrated handles to reveal a bread board with a built-in crumb catch. Occasionally apply a board oil (avoid cooking oils) to ensure that the wood lid doesn't dry out.

DURABLE AND EASY TO CLEAN – The body is durable and sturdy, composed of an eco-friendly blend of bamboo fiber and recycled plastic (BPA-free), with the lid crafted from highly sustainable rubber wood. When needed, hand wash the body with warm, soapy water and let air dry; no need to wash the lid, just brush off the crumbs after each use.

Our story began with a cutting board, or rather, a lack thereof. We wanted to find a board that was beautiful, functional, and affordable, but we couldn't find one that we'd be just as excited to use as we would to display it on our counter. That's why we developed Sonder LA—to bring you home products that you'll use every day, without ever looking 'everyday.'

We manufacture as close to the source of the materials as we can in order to reduce our environmental impact. Whenever possible, we source materials certified by the FSC from 100% sustainable plantations. We believe everyone can make an impact on the future of our planet, and that can be as simple as choosing a wood board over a plastic one. Not only are you eliminating plastic, but wood is much more durable and will easily outlive a plastic board when cared for properly.
